QQRQ Mezcal are all single palenque handcrafted spirits, produced in Mexico. Our mezcals are made to order in small batches at the family palenque in Santiago Matatlan by the Mendez family, who have been producing traditional Mezcals in their community for generations. We have long standing relationships with farmers from all over Oaxaca to ensure we only use fully mature agave plants which are harvested then brought to Matatlan where they are cooked in a 15 ton conical underground oven, fermented in wooden vats and double distilled in alembic copper 350ltr stills using time honoured traditional methods the family have had in place for the last 3 generations. Everything is 100% Agave. We use no chemicals, colorings, preservatives or additives during the production.
We are committed to making all QQRQ Mezcals with social responsibility towards the local people and environment so any steps we can take to help environment and the local people we do wherever possible.
